Are you looking for information on some of the best affiliate marketing platforms for 2019?
Well, you are on the right page at the right time. ?
Truth is the fact that when it comes to making money online, affiliate marketing is always ranked high on every bloggers list. And here’s the thing; with more and more online businesses becoming involved in affiliate marketing, more opportunities have arisen for bloggers, like you and I, to make money with their blog. and to ultimately live the internet lifestyle.
Isn’t that cool?
But here’s the problem.
Even though there are many affiliate marketing networks out there, some of them are not really cool.
By not cool, I mean to say they are illegitimate and don’t pay you what they promised to pay.
Yeah, so when choosing affiliate marketing programs, it’s important for you to look before you leap.
Also, it’s important for you as a beginner to choose only the affiliate marketing platforms that are best suited with your blog topic.
For example, for someone like me who is in the blog training niche, I have no business with pushing any health or entertainment related product.
Quite simply. It doesn’t fit into the BIG picture of my blog, neither does it worth the while of my blog audience.
However, some people don’t know this or maybe they know but decide to flout the rule just so they could make extra income.
But it also goes to show why most people who are into affiliate marketing for the money don’t actually make the money.
Not to worry, in this post, I got you covered. I shared everything you need to know about affiliate marketing, and also some of the best affiliate marketing platforms and programs for 2019.

How Do Affiliate Marketing Networks Pay?
Different strokes for different folks. That is to say, the way Amazon affiliate marketing program works is different from the way ShareASale affiliate program will work. They are just two different platforms.
Although, affiliate marketers are generally able to join affiliate networks for free, merchants usually have to pay a fee to participate in the network. Affiliate networks usually charge an initial setup fee for each merchant and often a recurring membership fee.
There are several payout methods used by affiliate networks including the two most popular models: CPS and CPA.
CPS, also referred to as PPS (Pay Per Sale), pays a set commission to the affiliate marketer who refers a lead that results in a purchase.
Online marketing companies love the CPS model since they only pay a commission after they get paid first by the purchasing customer. It’s basically free marketing and advertising since the affiliate is the one who produces the lead without any up-front cost to them.
This is also why CPS payout commission percentages are so high. Incidentally, the CPS model is primarily what we focus on here on this website.
CPA marketing programs pay affiliates when a specific action is taken by the referral or lead. Common actions include clicks, impressions, form submits, sign-ups, registrations, or opt-ins.
Since Cost-Per-Action models don’t necessarily involve a direct sale (and involve more risk taking) the payout percentages are far smaller than they are in the Cost-Per-Sale model.
